Mission Statement
The mission of Seventh-day Adventist churches in the Southern California Conference (SCC) territory* is to proclaim, to continue and to finish the work of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, through the preaching, teaching, publishing and living of His everlasting gospel.

*SCC territory includes Los Angeles and Ventura Counties, Kern County south and east of the Tehachapi Mountains, Santa Barbara County east of the 120th meridian.

Fundamental Beliefs
Seventh-day Adventists accept the Bible as their only creed and hold certain fundamental beliefs to be the teaching of the Holy Scriptures. These beliefs constitute the church's understanding and expression of the teaching of Scripture.

The distinctive Seventh-day Adventist message may be summarized as "the everlasting gospel," the basic Christian message of salvation through faith in Christ, in the special setting of the threefold message of Revelation 14:6-12, the call to worship the Creator, "for the hour of His judgment is come."
